TRUHERD

How buying works

Reserve wraps the deal you were doing anyway.

Deals in this industry start with a phone call — that doesn't change. TruHerd wraps the handshake in the three things a handshake can't do: money held by a neutral party, a stated window, and the animal's papers arriving automatically.

Reserve

Put down the seller's stated deposit — $3,700 on “General” (20%, set per listing). Stripe holds it; TruHerd never touches the money. The animal comes off the market.

The window

Fourteen days to complete: inspection, transport plans, and — across state lines — a permit checklist both parties see. Either side can walk under the stated terms; the terms decide the deposit.

Completion

The $14,800 balance releases to the seller on collection or transport handoff. The invoice both parties already share moves to Paid.

The handover

The moment payment completes, the animal's full record transfers to your TruHerd account — lineage, documents, medical, movement. See what arrives.

Every term is visible before the deposit

The reservation window, what the deposit does, and what happens if either side walks are stated on the listing — before payment, not discovered after.
